Installation

Installing your car seat is easier than you think with the Maxi-Cosi Pearl Pro2 i-Size!

First, install the FamilyFix3 base in your car using the ISOFIX connectors. Then fit the Pearl Pro2 i-Size car seat on the base with a simple “click”. The base will notify you each time when your baby is correctly installed and you are ready to “go”!

Maxi-Cosi Pearl Pro2 i-Size is approved according to the latest European safety standard i-Size for the improved safety performance as part of this compliance, Pearl Pro2 i-Size ensures better head, neck and body protection and, enables up to 105 cm (approx. 4 years) of rearward-facing travel with the base unit, which is recommended as the safer travel position for children.

In combination with the FamilyFix3, Pearl Pro2 i-Size can be used as a follow-up car seat right after Maxi-Cosi Coral or Pebble Pro i-Size baby car seats.

Removable cover

On the road, snacks or drinks may not always end up where they are supposed to. Or your little one may get car sick. No matter what happens, we are there for you as Maxi-Cosi’s car seat cover is machine washable and can easily be removed.

Combine the FamilyFix3 with the Jade, Coral, Pebble Pro i-Size or Pearl Pro 2 i-Size, for an easy-to-use Click & Go installation. Our Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 fits both baby and toddler car seats for long-time use.

Installation

These days, more and more European cars have the ISOFIX system, so there is a good chance that yours will have it too. Our Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 easily attaches to your car’s ISOFIX anchor points. Follow the steps in our user manual for it to be correctly installed into your car.

Once installed, you can leave the FamilyFix3 in the car. This makes getting in and out of the car very easy, because the Pebble Pro i-Size and Coral baby car seats can be attached to the base with a simple "click”, and our safety carrycot Jade can be attached with a simple "slide”. Visual indicators on the base notify you when your Maxi-Cosi car seat or safety carrycot is correctly secured, and you are ready to "go”.

The also FamilyFix3 fits our Pearl Pro 2 i-Size car seat for toddlers, allowing you to continue using it even after your little one has outgrown their first car seat or safety carrycot.

The FamilyFix3 can be installed with the Jade safety carrycot, the Pebble Pro i-Size and Coral baby car seats, or the Pearl Pro 2 i-Size toddler car seat.

Additionally, the FamilyFix3 enables you to install the toddler car seat in rear-facing. For greater protection of your little one’s head and neck, experts recommend that your baby travel in the rear-facing position until he or she grows to 105 cm (approx. 4 years).
