Refund policy
At UK Baby Centre, we offer a 30-day returns period on all products, provided the items remain in their original packaging, with all labels attached, and in a saleable, “unused” condition. This does not apply to special-ordered items procured from ranges we do not normally stock, and additional restocking fees may apply.
If you wish to return an order that included a delivery charge, including the £5.95 charge for orders under £49.99, Saturday delivery, or delivery to a non-UK Mainland or Scottish Highlands address, these charges will not be refunded and will be deducted from your order refund.
Orders cancelled or returned after they have been shipped will still incur a shipping fee starting from £3.95, which will be deducted from your refund. This includes items that qualified for free delivery.
If you ordered multiple items with an order value over £49.99 and received free delivery, a return of a non-faulty item or a cancellation that reduces the total order value below £49.99 will incur a charge starting from £3.95 to cover the original shipping and restocking fees. This amount will be deducted from your refund.
Due to health and safety regulations, certain items cannot be returned. Mattresses cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened or decompressed, so please check the mattress size before placing your order or opening the item. We also cannot accept assembled furniture for return, so please check the colour before assembly. Ex-display items are non-returnable. If you are unsure about an item, please check with us before making your purchase.
How to start a return?
To initiate a return, please provide the following details by filling our returns request form, emailing us directly at sales@ukbabycentre.com or call us on 01202 730630.

You can return the item(s) using a courier of your choice, with the responsibility of the item arriving safely to us or use our optional door-step collection service.
Please do not return items without notifying us first. We may take up to 48 hours to respond to emails.
Door-step Collection Service:
If you prefer doorstep collection, please confirm your collection address and a suitable weekday from Monday to Friday for collection. The cost is £25 for the first box and £15 for each additional box. This will be deducted from your refund. We will provide the best price based on your order and box sizes. Please also confirm if you have access to a printer for the return label.
Note: An additional £20 fee applies if collection fails.
Before sending your item(s) back...
- Please ensure that the package has been opened and/or repacked in a reasonable condition.
- Make sure there are no odours on the item when returning it, as these will be reflected in your refund.
- Only use CLEAR tape to reseal the box.
- Make sure to remove or cover old courier labels, to prevent the items being redelivered to you.
- Write our returns address, your name, and order number on a piece of paper, attach it to the package with clear tape.
Once the item is back with us....
Our team will inspect the items. If they meet our return standards, we will issue the refund minus any collection fees and/or other charges applicable. Refunds may take 3 to 7 working days to process once the return has been approved.
